The Strollers group walks are between 1-2 miles on level ground. We welcome people who need to walk at a steady pace and who may need to use a walking aid.
I try to make sure that there are benches along the route for people to rest on.
We aim to finish the walk near a cafe so that we can have a chat, a drink and eat cake!
We don't walk if the weather is inclement.
Our walks are mostly local and have included:
- the Nottingham canal towpath
- Beeston Rylands Marina along the side of the River Trent towards Attenborough
- around the University lake at Highfields
- Martins Pond and Harrison's plantation
- along the canal at Cossall
- Strelley village
- Wollaton Park

All walks start by meeting at the Grangewood Methodist Church car park at 10.00am so that we can share lifts.
