We have an eclectic group with a range of interests and experiences in science. However you don't need any particular background in science, just an interest in science in its broadest sense. To that end recent meetings have, for example, covered topics such as:
- the science of seeing and hearing
- achieving a patent
- the planets
- autism
- the origin and evolution of the the Universe
We have room for twelve members and currently have four vacancies. Coffee and cake is provided at our meetings too.
