The Cinema and Film Group was formed in September 2023, aimed at members who enjoy films and are interested in discussing them. We go to see films at a local cinema, usually the Broadway in Nottingham.

Visits are approximately monthly, in the afternoon or early evening. No particular day is designated so we can fit in with the cinema schedules. The Convenors let group members know the details of the next visit in advance, and after seeing a film we meet in a local café to discuss it.

More recently we have begun to arrange theatre visits as well, and in May 2025 the group changed its name to the Film and Theatre group.

We also hold bi-monthly discussion and planning meetings at the Admiral Rodney.

Contact us on the link above if you are interested in joining our group.
