The science group meets on the first Thursday of the month, unless we change this at a previous meeting, we have room for twelve members and have vacancies for four new group members.

You don't need any particular science background, or indeed any at all, just an interest in science in its general sense. To this end we have, for example, covered, the origin and evolution of the universe, achieving a patent, autism, polar bears and the planets.

Coffee and cake are provided at our meetings too.
